How do I order Carrier equipment through Sibi?
Carrier equipment has to be ordered by a licensed HVAC pro. Add your pro to Sibi and they order at manufacturer-direct pricing on your behalf, through the store or with Smart Jobs, paying by credit card. Questions? Email support@sibipro.com.
What is an AHRI-matched system?
AHRI certifies which outdoor and indoor units are rated to work together. Sibi shows pre-matched systems with their AHRI number, so the condenser, coil and air handler or furnace arrive as one compatible set, without manual compatibility checks.
What happens if a Carrier system is out of stock?
Carrier's substitution program sends a similar product, or the same product from another Carrier brand, when one is in stock. Most distribution partners take part. If yours doesn't, they'll contact you to fill the order from another location or adjust it.
Where is Carrier available?
Nationwide, through Carrier's distribution partners. Which Carrier-family brands you see depends on your region.
What warranty comes with Carrier equipment?
Carrier includes a standard 10-year parts warranty at no charge, and Sibi registers purchases with it automatically. A 10-year extended labor warranty is available through AIG, from $350 to $450 depending on the system type. If the property owner directs it, Sibi registers that coverage too, and AIG bills the property owner.
How do I file a Carrier parts warranty claim?
It depends on how the equipment was ordered. If it was ordered through a Carrier National Credit Account, follow Carrier's buyback process and submit the Carrier warranty form. If it was ordered through a supply house account, contact your local Carrier-partnered supplier to start a passthrough claim. Either way, keep the unit serial number, order confirmation and repair invoice.
When does AIG labor coverage start?
AIG labor coverage begins on day 31 after installation. Claims in the first 30 days are not eligible, since that window covers installation errors and early manufacturer defects.
